“ My pasta was amazing! Services was a bit... weird... not bad just... had to ask for things a couple times... like I asked for water with lemon she said yes... got the water, no lemon I asked again she said yes... brought me my salad.. no lemon... I asked again... then got it... but just a bit weird but good lol and it's like Italian food but Mexican music... and she didn't know how to pronounce some of the menu items but I guess I didn't eaither so it's okay ”
“ Should you find yourself in the more southern portions of San Francisco, namely the Excelsior district, you'll find an outpost of the storied North Beach district: the neighborhood local franchise of North Beach Pizza located on 4787 Mission St between Persia and Russia Ave. Now while other North Beach Pizza franchises are all about the some amorphous Tuscany, Lazio, or Campania melding of representation, this place, with its food, is the most stripped down in the décor and to the point in that it's about the pizza. And indeed it is all about the pizza; with out of the all possible 49 toppings to choose from there is one that makes the North Beach Pizzeria signature taste: the pepperoni, along with the dough and the sauce. Serving as part of a basso continuo to most other toppings: whether it's just a pepperoni and cheese, pepperoni and mushroom, pepperoni and sausage, or, as is the case of the classic combination of pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms, and you have a signature taste in the pepperoni that defines the rest of the menu; following a bread that's sweet but not too sweet with a density as that of sourdough likeness, along with a seasoned (salt) sauce, comes together creating a distinct trio that can often be best described as "La pizza di San Francisco." The service of this particular franchise is straight forward and to the point whereupon your order has no delays or any pretenses in the preparation of the meal: you make your order, take your seat and wait for your food for either to dine in or take out - unless you're prepared for an additional delivery service charge at your discretion. And unlike other pizza franchises that have a taste the shouts "fun!", this pizza is a bit more demure. So if you bring a decently priced, not cheap, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, or maybe an aged Tempranillo, you'll find yourself enjoying one of San Francisco's most premier pizzas of common availability. Bon Appetit. ”
“ Thank you for hosting our soccer team! The food was awesome and the service was amazing! ”
“ Love the Verdi Pizza and added Italian sausage..it's so flavorful. I always get a Greek salad to accompany it, You won't miss the red sauce on this pizza. You gotta love Feta cheese and pesto. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. ”
“ Tasty pizza. We ordered a thin crust mushroom and sausage and chicken marsala! Pleasant service too! ”
“ I have never been to the actual location, but my friend has ordered pizzas for groups of friends, and I think the pizza is pretty good..Surprised that the reviews aren't better for this place. Crust is thicker but not too thick. I like the crust. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Delivery is pretty good, most of the time. Sorry, pics are leftovers ”
